"Here's where the action's at - world-reknown art museums...legendary theaters and music halls...small-town charm and beauty..." Connecticut Vacation Guide 2008
We couldn't agree more. Wallingford is in the greater New Haven tourism district of south central Connecticut - just 90 minutes from New York City.
Between Hartford and New Haven, we are easily accessible from both I-91 and the historic Rt.15 Merritt Parkway.
Bring your appetite for food, fun, art, and history because there's always more to explore in New England.
Set yourself apart in the privacy of a grand Queen Anne victorian home while you enjoy some of your favorite things.
Hunt for an elusive antique piece, take in a symphony, Broadway musical, or national band tour debut.
Play a round of golf, ride a horse, take a hot air balloon ride, or visit an orchard and pick fresh fruit or try some overstuffed pie.
You could spend days taking in all of the museums, historic properties, and galleries within a short distance of this quaint New England town.
We are also perfectly centered in the middle of the winding country roads leading to the many vineyards along Connecticut's wine trail.
